The soil poisoning division of Propserve
Family-owned, thirty years in pest control, and one division that does nothing else but soil poisoning and termite barriers.
Why this is a separate division
Propserve has been in pest control for over 30 years and runs nine divisions covering cleaning, pest control, compliance certification, maintenance and construction. Soil poisoning sits inside that, but it works differently from everything else we do.
Ordinary pest control runs on a diary. Soil poisoning runs on someone else’s construction programme, and the window for the work is often a day or two wide. A builder who can’t get treatment and a certificate before the inspector arrives loses days, and days on a build cost real money.
So we split it out, gave it its own scheduling, its own operators and its own paperwork process. That’s what makes the 12 hour certificate turnaround something we actually hit rather than something we advertise.
How we work
- Written scopes, not vague quotes. You get the treated area, product and application rate in writing before we start.
- Registered operators only. Licensed with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and members of SAPCA.
- Registered product only. Termiticides registered under Act 36 of 1947, applied at label rate.
- Three languages. English, isiZulu and Afrikaans, answered by people who do the work.
- We’ll tell you if you don’t need us. If a soil barrier isn’t the right answer for your problem, we’ll say so.
Where we are
We work out of Hillcrest, which sits about halfway between Durban and the Midlands and puts most of the province inside a comfortable day. We cover every square metre of KwaZulu-Natal — the Upper Highway, the metro, the North and South Coasts, the Midlands, and up into Zululand and northern KZN.
We take work in Johannesburg and Gauteng as well. Anything outside KwaZulu-Natal is quoted per project rather than off a standard travel rate, so send us the site details and we will come back with a firm figure.
This division is small on purpose. If you message the number on this site, one of the people who runs it reads it — and if we can’t help you, we’ll tell you who can.
Ready to get it booked?
Send us the slab area and the site address. You get a written quote, a date you can plan around, and your certificate 12 hours after we finish.
